An eating and cultural spree along the Spree
It may surprise you to learn that beyond the gritty, urban landscape Berlin is truly a city of nature, where parks and waterways cover one third of the terrain. The Gastro-Rallye Riverside is a four-hour voyage along the banks of the river Spree as it meanders through the capital’s south-eastern centre. In summer, we dine alfresco. The settings are one-of-a-kind: charismatic bistros by the canal, chic outdoor lounges, exotic garden terraces and impressive post-industrial spaces.
The atmosphere, like the city, is laid back, yet you’ll find some of Berlin's most buzzing cafes and restaurants in hidden pockets amid magical waterside scenery. Your lifestyle guide will satisfy your hunger for delicious food and wine along with your hunger for knowledge, as you discover Kreuzberg, one of Berlin’s most exciting, creative and edgy districts that's famous for its extraordinary street art. From the bohemian trendy scene of waterside Kreuzberg’s Media Spree to the emerging “Kreuzkölln” area, this is a real journey into Berlin’s cultural core.
